The entire production process, from raw material to the final tape, takes place at Induflex Laminates Division in Gent. This guarantees us maximum control and flexibility during manufacture and also allows us to reply to our customers' demands with a maximum of efficiency and speed. Our equipment includes machinery for processing foil and film by adhesive and/or heat lamination. Laminated parent rolls are continuously available and are ready for finishing upon order. This wide range of basic constructions allows us to react immediately to incoming orders. Each parent roll is cut and wound according to the customer's specifications. Our traverse winding equipment allows us to extend our range of products and provide for new combinations and possible applications.

Products and Applications Induflex products are mainly designed for use in three sectors.
In order to guarantee the perfect functioning of computers, telecommunication equipment, etc., cables must be kept completely free of interference. This is a delicate and precise task. To do so, we use coated and laminated tapes which are wound around the conductors either in a spiral or longitudinally, thereby forming a protective wrapping that will eliminate all electromagnetic or electrostatic interference. The characteristics of these tapes are adapted to the specific needs of each cable and its applications. The laminated components are further color-coded during the lamination process for easy identification. These tapes are designed for cables used in instrumentation, signalization, telecommunication, data transmission, data networks, cable networks, etc.
Specific circumstances demand that adequate care is taken when laying cables. To guarantee the operational safety of appliances and installations, Induflex has developed special insulation and barrier tapes. |
The other components ensure that the cables will remain operational for quite some time in the event of fire. These insulation and barrier tapes can be used to cover a broad range of needs. Such cables are commonly used in public buildings, subways, trains, factories, aviation, electric installations, etc. For optimal safety and efficiency, the right cables have to be used and the right connections made at all times. Here, our color-coded tapes are an easy means of identification. All installations must be faultlessly wired and errors in connection must be avoided. Code-printed tapes allow us to identify each conductor. We can also print the name of the manufacturer on our tapes.
