The Durel Division pioneered in the development of IC-based EL lamp drivers which have been the backlighting system of choice for diverse consumer applications world wide. Durel EL lamp and driver systems provide exceptional environmental performance and are engineered for maximum brightness and efficiency. Using its long history and experience with high voltage EL drivers and applications, Durel introduced an LED (light emitting diode) integrated circuit in 2008 to meet the growing demands of high voltage IC components in the LCD Display and General Illumination segments. Durel's LED IC, like all its IC components is RoHS and WEEE compliant.
