Rogers Circuit Materials Division Awarded Rogers, CT, August 31, 1994: Rogers Corporation announces that its Circuit Materials Division in Chandler, Arizona, is now certified to ISO-9002, the standards set by the International Organization for Standards (ISO) for quality production and installation systems. The ISO quality standards, collectively known as ISO-9000 Standards, are internationally recognized and accepted as the highest measure of quality assurance for manufacturing. The certificates were received in August, 1994, from Factory Mutual (FMRC) and TÜV Nederland QA, after an extensive auditing and registration procedure. The certificates allow the Circuits Materials Division to enter contracts with the designation, "Certified or Registered to ISO 9002 Series Standards for Quality", adding significant value to the printed circuit materials it sells. Rogers is a leading manufacturer of specialty materials for flexible, high performance, and high frequency circuits. Rogers flexible circuit materials include R/flex® flexible materials for high performance printed wiring and FLEX-I-MID® adhesiveless laminates for multilayer printed circuits. The ISO-9002 Certification is an important requirement for companies which, like Rogers, supply product to European markets.
