RO3003™ High Frequency Materials combines the best electrical performance and lowest cost for a PTFE material in the market today. Low dielectric constant (3.0 + .04 @ 10 GHz)) and low loss (.0013 @ 10 GHz) contribute to high frequency performance and overall system efficiency. RO3003 has a flat dielectric constant and dissipation factor over both frequency and temperature. The CTE in the Z-axis is 24 ppmºC for excellent plated through hole reliability. Coupled with the high melt point of PTFE, RO3003 has excellent thermal properties for the wide variety of operational temperatures that automotive designs face.

RO4003C™ High Frequency Materials  –  is one of the most widely used materials for commercial high frequency designs in the market today. Low dielectric constant (3.38 + .05 @ 10 GHz) and low loss (.002 @ 10 GHz) extend the operational frequency range. RO4003 is a thermoset material suited for fabrication in high volume. High Tg (280ºC) along with high thermal conductivity (.64 W/m/ºK) allows RO4003 to be used in a wide variety of operating environments and process conditions. The material system has a low z-axis CTE (46 ppmºC) for excellent plated through hole reliability. A homogenous prepreg, RO4450B, is also available for use in multilayer applications.
