Joint Ventures

Rogers Inoac Corporation, based in Nagoya and Mie, Japan (with venture partner Inoac Corporation) manufactures PORON® elastomer materials and ENDUR® elastomer components.

Rogers Inoac Suzhou Corporation, based in Suzhou, China

Polyimide Laminate Systems, LLC, based in Chandler, Arizona (with venture partner Mitsui Chemicals, Inc.) manufactures customized flexible circuit materials used in hard disk drive suspensions.

Rogers Chang Chun Technology Co., Ltd., based in Taipei, Taiwan (with joint venture partner Chang Chun Plastics Co., Ltd.) manufactures and distributes Rogers R/flex® Crystal adhesives, R/flex® 9000 polyester (PET), polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) laminates and coverfilms.

Rogers manufactures products in plants located in the US (Arizona, Connecticut, and Illinois), Belgium (Gent) and Asia.

Product mix

Specialty material products for communication and computer applications include: High Frequency Printed Circuit Board Laminates become circuits for cellular telephones and other communication equipment, wireless infrastructure equipment, high speed data transfer, internet servers and satellite television antennas. Flexible Printed Circuit Board Laminates are used in advanced hard disk drives, portable and hand-held computers, cellular telephones, and other electronic equipment. Engineered Thermal Materials, Thermal Interface Materials and Insulated Metal Substrates are used for heat management in power electronics, LEDs, chip packaging and other applications where thermal control is required. PORON® Urethanes and BISCO® Silicones are used to protect and cushion sensitive components in portable and hand-held computers, wireless communication devices, and wireless infrastructure equipment. Rogers' Durel Electroluminescent Lamps (EL) and Drivers are used for backlighting displays in wireless communication handsets, pagers and personal digital assistants.

Rogers elastomer materials are used to cushion and seal a broad variety of industrial and consumer products. PORON® Urethanes insole cushioning materials are incorporated into footwear and footcare products; elastomer components are used for paper transport in imaging equipment; busbars are used for power distribution in telecom cabinets, train and mass transit systems, and static industrial motor controls; and printing sleeves and R/bak® cushion mounting materials are used by the printing industry.

PORON® Urethanes are integrated into medical, woundcare and healthcare applications. Rogers' Durel Electroluminescent Lamps (EL) and Drivers are also used in the out-of-home (OOH) market by companies in illuminated billboard (static and mobile) and display advertising applications.
